Discussion Sections

There are weekly discussion sections held by your TA. You are required to enroll in and attend one of the sections. You must enroll in the section you will attend via https://my.ucsc.edu, or else you will not be able to submit the weekly quizzes on Canvas. Meeting Times:
• Monday - 4:00PM-5:05PM
• Tuesday - 5:20PM-6:25PM

Dates: January 11th - March 9th.

Quizzes

There will be low-stakes quizzes during sections.

Guidelines:

1. The TA will share the quiz with you at the beginning of the section.
2. You will be assigned to breakout rooms of 3-4 students. You may discuss the quiz with your group.
3. Complete your work via your preferred medium, e.g.: pen and paper, electronically via a tablet, or LaTeX.
4. Scan your work and save it as a .pdf file. There are free scanner apps available for most smart phones.
5. Submit your work via https://canvas.ucsc.edu. The submission window will be from 4:00PM-6:00PM for the Monday section and 5:20PM - 7:20PM for the Tuesday section. Submissions will not be accepted outside of these windows.
