Bridge at UCSC.

Before joining the UCSC Linguistics department, I completed a joint B.A. in Linguistics & Psychology at UMass Amherst, where I worked with Lyn Frazier, Chuck Clifton, and John Kingston. I then spent two years as the lab manager for the UCLA Language Processing Lab, directed by Jesse Harris.

In addition to my research and teaching, I am a founding member of the UCSC Equity in Linguistics working group. In the past, I've also been a co-organizer of the UCSC Syntax, Semantics, and Language Processing Lab meetings.

When I'm not thinking about linguistics, I enjoy walking around Santa Cruz and drawing hasty sketches of nature.
