Younger
Lagoon is part of the natural range of many reptiles.
Reptiles
can survive without living in the water, and docents at Younger Lagoon
have reported seeing Garter snakes and Gopher snakes. These animals
feed on insects and small rodents throughout the year, under the vegetation
and in the grasslands. |
