While many network devices have a procedure variously termed "password recovery",
vbricks are different.

Our understanding is that PWs MD5 hashes are stored within the device. There
is a special user "override", not visible within the admin interface and not
mentioned in the manual.  The password for this special user can be provided
by Vbrick, based on information that can be read from the LCD display once
the brick has booted.

With other devices -- e.g. cisco switches -- there is a power-on procedure
that works for a short time after application of power that will clear the
PW.  VBricks have no such capability.  This is bad news for people that get
Vbricks on eBay.
