Announced in a press release on November 19, 2013. This Trident II switch has 26 QSFP+ ports on its face and can be augmented with 6 additional ports with an add-in module that plugs into the back of the switch. A common use of rear ports is to configure a heap of switches into a stack. This switch is also available in a varient with the the QSFP+ ports split into 10G SFP+.
