The Trident+ has a 9 MByte block of packet buffer which is partitioned by the switch software between dedicated per-port buffers and a dynamic buffer pool that can be allocated on demand. Arista calls this DBA. For the Arista 7050S, we know that this was tested and reported in the Spring 2011 Lippis Report. See page 31.
