Want to be a psychotherapist? Click on Match Rates by Doctoral Program (2000-2010): https://www.appic.org/Match/Match-Statistics Apply for clinical/counseling graduate school only at those schools whose match rate is high, otherwise you'll have a hard—or impossible— time finding your hours for licensure. If the match rate is low, that indicates internship sites were unwilling to accept students from that institution—a good indicator of the lower quality of the program. (In general, for-profit professional schools like Alliant, CIIS, Sophia, JFK, etc. have much lower match rates than do non-profit and public universities. They also cost several times more, have more faculty instability, larger class sizes [because they admit most who apply], and worse student ratings.)
