I am a fifth-year PhD student in Linguistics at UC Santa Cruz. Before that, I got my S.B. in Linguistics and Philosophy from MIT and was a Baggett fellow at the University of Maryland, where I was advised by Valentine Hacquard and Philip Resnik.
My research interests lie primarily in semantics and pragmatics, particularly of Estonian. I'm especially interested expressions of belief, the relationship between semantics of attitude verbs and their complements, and the interpretation of biased questions.
I'm an active member of the Language, Logic, and Cognition Lab and the Semantics, Pragmatics, and LAnguage Philosophy reading group, and part of the program committee for the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad.
