As part of my Ph.D. thesis, I apply Machine Learning for astrophysical applications. With the aid of ML, I focus on developing a turbulence subgrid model for Core-Collapse Supernovae (CCSN), which are highly energetic explosions of massive stars at the end of their lives. Previously I worked on radiative cooling and mixing of Supernova remnants (SNR) and Neutron Star (NS) atmospheres.
