I have recently completed the Master's program in Linguistics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. My research interests are primarily in syntax and morphology. My thesis presents a theoretical overview of the morphosyntax of Gujarati, focusing especially on the expression of polarty, as well as the intricate facts of case and agreement. My advisor for my thesis was Jim McCloskey.
I am a Graduate Student Researcher for the Santa Cruz Ellipsis Project. The project's goal is to build a searchable database of annotated sluices from a corpora of examples from New York Times articles. You can read more about this project here.
