Description: Body sausage-like, pinkish, with short proboscis. Two golden digging setae located ventrally near mouth. With 10-11 posterior setae around anus.
Size: typically 15-18cm in length, but may reach 50cm.
Notes: Live in U-shaped burrows in soft substrate, typically in bays or estuaries. This is the only Echiuran likely to be seen in the local intertidal.
