Karen Duek

I’m a fourth-year PhD student at the department of linguistics at UCSC. My interests are in semantics, syntax and the ways the two systems interact. I’m also interested in the use of experimental methods in linguistics, and the link between grammar and parser.

This Winter 2016, I'm TA'ing Structure of Romance Languages for Donka Farkas. My office hours are Monday 3-4pm, at Stevenson room 265.

I am also one of the organizers of the Unofficial Graduate Student Get-together on Semantics and Pragmatics (UGGS), so feel free to email me if you’re in the Bay Area and want to come share your thoughts with us.
