About Me

After graduating with my bachelors degree in bioengineering I plan on going to graduate school to earn a PhD, with the eventual goal of becoming a researcher and computational biologist. My current plans are to stay within academia and eventually become either a professor or a principal investigator at an institute. In the future I want to work on interdisciplinary projects that bring together computer science, biology, chemistry, statistics, and engineering to advanced our fundamental understanding of molecular biology and allow us to develop new techniques to I combat genetic disorders, understand disease and design microorganisms with useful purposes.
