Laboratory and Analytical Experience
Multiple sample preparation and wet chemical purification techniques in clean lab environments for the analysis of major, trace, and volatile element concentrations and radiogenic (Sr-Nd-Hf-Pb), cosmogenic (10Be), and Uranium-series isotopic ratios in geological and environmental materials. Development and implementation of specialized methods and SOPs for quantitative analysis of complex, non-traditional, and ultra-trace analytes in geological materials. Analytical methods include high-resolution ICP-MS, laser-ablation ICP-MS, multiple-collection ICP-MS, EMPA, FTIR, SEM, TIMS, and familiarity with XRF and AMS.
