About

I'm an undergraduate in the Department of Linguistics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, largely interested in formal systems of morphosyntax and semantics from theoretical and computational perspectives.

Some ongoing topics I'm investigating include binding-as-agreement, quantificational scope, and binding-condition effects in VP-ellipsis with intensifiers under the guidance of Haoze Li.

I work in natural language processing in the Tech4Good Lab led by David T. Lee, and I'm starting group research under Razvan Marinescu in Machine Learning for Molecular Dynamics of viral proteins. I also instruct for Santa Cruz Artificial Intelligence (SCAI).

For 2023–2024, I'll be conducting experimental research on subject-object asymmetry in relative measurement syntax as a Koret Research Scholar.
