THE RULES

  1. Most of the homework problems are assigned from the 13th edition of the textbook - Introduction to Mathematical Analysis for Business, Economics and the Life and Social Sciences, by Haeussler, Paul and Wood - or the custom version of 13th edition. Some problems are assigned from the Supplementary Notes on the review page of the course website - these are labeled with an "SN".
  2. Staple your homework, or risk having pages lost. Make sure that you put your name on your assignments.
  3. Assignments are due on the dates posted below.
    • Homework will be collected in class, for your convenience.
    • Assignments may also be turned in to drop-box #2 next to Jack's Lounge in Baskin Engineering, no later than 3:30 pm on the day that it is due.
  4. Late homework is not accepted for any reason, (see rules 5 and 6 below). You should work on each assignment a little bit every day, and turn in whatever you have completed when it is due.
  5. There are No Exceptions to rule 4. Unexpected absences from school, flat tires, homework-eating dogs, etc., are all covered by rule 6., below.
  6. Your lowest 3 homework scores will be dropped, (these may include the 0's you get for missing assignments).
  7. In section each week, the TAs will review the homework assignment that you turned in the week before. For help on the assignment that is due, please go to MSI or office hours (mine or the TA's).
