Debate Question: Has current climate change caused more wildfires?
Preparation for the debate:
Time: 11:10 – 11:45 a.m. during the lecture period on November 20 (Friday)
Readings:
Scientific journal articles in the <Climate wildfire> subfolder in Files on Canvas;
Each of you is expected to do a google search using “climate change” and “wildfire” as the key words and choose a few webpages or social media to read and to be prepared to use the information in the debate.
Debate settings:
The “YES” Group--your last initial A-G; The “NO” group– your last initial H-Z. People in the YES group will argue/support an answer of YES to the debate question, and the NO-group will do the opposite.
