Here's a picture of me with the UCSC Sailing Team that appeared on the cover of the 1985-86 UCSC course catalog. (I'm the one with the orange jacket.) We were Northern California champions one year, which was remarkable considering Stanford had a fleet of boats, scholarships, and a full-time coach. Our fame didn't endure, the next year I was moved to the back cover.
