Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long will it take?

The entire process takes about 20 minutes. The show itself will only take about five minutes.

2. What about parking on campus?

We offer free parking for all of our subjects. The reserved parking spot is very close to the building entrance and students will be outside waiting for you to show you where to go.

3. What about gas? Any compensation?

We are happy to offer travel reimbursement; amounts are determined by where you live (i.e., the distance traveled to our lab).

4. Who will be there when we come to the lab?

There will be 3 to 5 students including a supervisor to run the study. All of our students are well trained, knowledgeable about the research, and experienced with young children. If fact, many parents have found babysitters from amongst our students.

5. How many visits are there? Am I obligated to come back?

We do have more than one study your baby can participant in at different ages. However, your visit requires no further commitments. We will ask for your permission to keep your information in our database so we can contact you again for subsequent studies. It is totally up to you as to whether or not you want to come back.
