Examinations

The final exam will be held on December 12 at 12:00 in the usual classroom.

Solutions to the midterm given on November 8 are available for download.

Solutions to the alternate midterm given on November 7 (to students travelling on business on November 8) are available for download. The questions on the two midterms are different.

Note that the answers are intended for study purposes (and thus may include information not necessary to get full marks), and were written in a hurry (and so may omit "obvious" information that is needed to get full marks). If you have a question about how a particular problem would be graded, please ask the TA or the instructor.

Office hour schedule is changed. Regular morning office hours are Tuesday and Thursday 9:15-9:45. They will usually start 5-10 minutes earlier depending on Hwy 17 traffic, but end at 9:45 sharp (even in mid-sentence)! Regular afternoon office hours are Tuesday and Thursday 12:45-1:45. (2007-10-30)
