CSUN SURF CLUB OFFICER DUTIES

PRESIDENT

1. Shall preside at all meetings of the Surf Club.
2. Shall represent the club where ever such representation may be required. (This includes coordinating development efforts.)
3. Shall call special meetings of the club as a whole.
4. Shall disperse funds jointly with the Treasurer.

VICE-PRESIDENT

1. Shall represent this club in the Inter-Organizational Council.
2. Shall perform the duties of the President in the absence of the President.
3. Shall be an ex-officio member of all committees. (This means: responsible for progress of specific activity groups such as Trips, Club Contests, Fundraisers, etc.)

SECRETARY

1. Shall maintain accurate minutes of the meetings of the club.
2. Shall handle all correspondence and notification. (This includes: distribution of flyers and Sundial announcements of upcoming events.)

TREASURER

1. Shall receive and dispurse all funds jointly with the President, and/or the Advisor.
2. Shall keep accurate records of receipts and disbursements. (This will also include responsibility for efforts including:
   • A) Preparation of an annual budget for submission to Associated Students for AS funding.
   • B) Completion and submission of a NonProfit Organization form to the IRS.)
