Final Exam Tuesday, December 15, 8-11 am

Homework will be assigned daily and each weekly set will be collected in section.

Grading: There will be two midterms worth 100 points each, the homework will be worth 40 points, and the comprehensive final exam will be worth 160 points.

Four hours of section per week are mandatory. In these sections you will work together with other students on homework.

Keep up with the schedule. This works better than falling behind and cramming.
Read the sections to be covered in lecture before you come to lecture and work through the examples in the text.
Attend all lectures and weekly discussion sections. Ask questions if something is unclear.
Attend office hours, either mine and/or the TA's, and ask questions if something is unclear.
Use the drop in tutors for additional help. The schedule of hours will be distributed in the second week of classes.
