March 20: Final Exam 7:30-10:30pm |
Here is the link to the homework. Each weekly set will be collected
in section the following Wednesday or Thursday.
Grading: There will be two exams worth 100 points each, a comprehensive
final exam worth 160 points, and the
homework will be worth 40 points.
Four hours of section per week are mandatory. In these sections
you will work together with other students on homework.
- Keep up with the schedule. This works better than falling behind and
cramming.
- Read the sections to be covered in lecture before you come to
lecture and work through the examples in the text.
- Attend all lectures and weekly discussion sections. Ask questions if
something is unclear.
- Attend office hours, either mine and/or the TA's, and ask questions
if something is unclear.
- Use the drop in tutors for additional help. The schedule of hours will
be distributed in the second week of classes.
