Current Lab Members Kira Badyrka (BA, 2010, Whitman College) Kira is investigating paleoecological changes during the waxing and waning of the late Paleozoic ice age, using marine invertebrate communities in the Copacabana Formation of Bolivia. Jered Karr (BS, 2009, UC Santa Cruz) Jered is working with fossil insects to understand environmental and biotic controls on maximum size, minimum size, preservation, and global diversity.  Jered has compiled a database of more than 9000 size measurements that we are adding to the Paleobiology Database. Former Lab Members Kathryn Kynett (BS thesis 2010) - currently MS student at SF State Nathan Unangst (BS thesis 2010) - currently MS student at UC Davis
