Description: Ground color cream to very pale yellow. Dorsal tubercles tipped with lemon yellow, and a band of similar color on the dorsal and ventral surfaces of mantle margin and also on edge of foot. Rhinophores with 15-18 cream to light yellow lamellae. Branchial plumes 6, bipinnate, cream to light yellow. The rounded tubercles on the dorsum and shorter rhinophores distinguish this species from the rarer Acanthodoris hudsoni which has longer rhinophores and pointed papillae on the dorsum. |
