Economics 100A Intermediate Microeconomics

This course will provide the basic tools of microeconomic analysis. We will examine consumer behavior, firms' pricing and output decisions, and market outcomes. There will be one midterm exam during the quarter followed by a comprehensive final. There will be four problem sets during the quarter. Though you may work in groups on problem sets you must turn in your own homework and write up the answers on your own. You are expected to maintain the standards of academic integrity delineated in http://www.ucsc.edu/academics/academic_integrity/undergraduate_students/. Any violations of academic integrity standards will be dealt with in accordance with University policy.
