Add-Art Project

I wasn’t going to do this project to begin with. I wasn’t sure how to approach or whether I had someone who I could curate a show of art for. Thinking of all the possibilities in my head, I then remembered a friend’s great passion for photography. Sean Doll, whom I met last year, was always carrying around either a photograph or a camera. As soon as I had my artist, I was very excited to start.

Sean has traveled to Japan two times. He gave me a selection of images from his trips and I carefully selected and grouped them into the individual bodies of work in a way that made sense to me. For example, the fifth body of work is composed of cropped images that are more or less sceneries. For some reason, the fourth body of work doesn’t seem to really have an underlying connection between the images I selected but every other bodies of work blend together on their own which is why I named the fourth body of work “rand” for random.

  • First body of work.
  • Second body of work.
  • Third body of work.
  • Fourth body of work.
  • Fifth body of work.
  • Sixth body of work.
  • Seventh body of work.
  • Eighth body of work.
