Important Notices:

Final Exam will be held on Monday, Dec. 2nd from 12-3pm in the Media Theatre classroom. 

Final Review contains review outline and examples.  This review is not all inclusive but it is definitely a good start.

Review Session with Professor Flannery will be held on Sunday, Dec. 1 from 7-8pm in the Media Theatre. 

Ralf will hold office hours on Sunday from 3-6 in Social Sciences I, Room 261.

Problem Set 6 is due on Monday, November 25th.  You can obtain the necessary data at www.awl.com/studenmund  The assigned problems are as follows:

    Chapter 8 #9, 11, 13 (only correlation)

    Chapter 9  #11, 13 

    Chapter 10 #9a,b,c,  11

Sections will not be held on Wednesday evening.

Course Information

Description

Practical methods for organizing and analyzing economic data, testing economic hypotheses, and measuring economic relationships. Regression analysis is the main empirical method, and basic statistical and probability theory is included. Students gain hands-on computer experience with an econometric software package.
