From August through December, 2008, I’ll be a graduate TA in the UC Paris Program.

I’m currently beginning work on my dissertation, an intellectual biography on the French journalist, philosopher, and social theorist André Gorz.

My primary research interests: French postwar intellectual history, critiques of capitalism and critiques of Marxism, macro-level studies of political economy since the late eighteenth century, and intersections of philosophy and political theory.

Plans: I hope to teach an intellectual history course in the Summer of 2009.  I’m hoping to complete my dissertation by Spring of 2010.
