Fencing

I fence both at the UCSC Fencing Club and Salle Santa Cruz, primarily foil. I'm hoping to acheive my E rating this season.

Sailing

I've sailed since high school and I'm continuing that now in Santa Cruz. Recently, I've been sailing with the Santa Cruz 27 fleet on Don Quixote.

Old BMWs

I drive a 1986 BMW 535i, and sometimes borrow a 1989 BMW 325i. I prefer both of these to my friend's 2009 Mercedes SLK300.

I recently received my Amateur Extra license, callsign KJ6AQR. I'm also an ARRL VE. I use a Yaesu FT-11R that a friend from Burning Man gave me.
