I write papers using LaTeX, which is often not well suited for generating typographical elements that are specific to linguistics (syntactic trees, autosegmental representations, OT Tableaux...). I've assembled a very modest package that contains handy commands for doing many of these things. Feel free to steal or modify any part of it. One of the links below is for a package specifically designed for making OT Tableaux.
