Thank you to curator Linda Levy for bravely launching a new media invitational art event at the SCMAC and for facilitating all aspects of the project, including grant research and authoring.

Participating artists represent a diverse variety of new media art forms:  from a more traditional painting approach, through digital photography collage, historic photo restoration,animation, robotics, covert art, digital storytelling, new digital music, video, claymation movies and beyond!

A nominee for the 2006-07 Santa Cruz County Community Foundation's Rydell Fellowship, Brenda Berg graduated Magna cum Laude from San Jose State University's Art and Design Department. She did her postgraduate work in Studio Art at the University of California at Santa Cruz. When not in her studio, Berg teaches studio art at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She also teaches oil painting, drawing, robotics and animation at the Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center
